I wonder if Windows 10 x64 could run, on the Fall Creators Update at the very least. Unfortunately, I have zero options to upgrade this PC too much further without needing to build a completely new PC. I also have the option to edit my Windows 10 installation disc through a program called NTLite. Probably disabling as many useless services as possible will help in saving some memory. So, can Windows 10 bit run on this config, while being able to run a few basic apps? Or if not, will bit apps run as expected?

I have noticed Windows 10 seems to be cutting off support for PC’s pre and even if you are able to successfully get it installed, you are gonna encounter a lot of problems with it. Just the other day, I setup a retiree’s PC. She returned from a abroad and had left the PC behind for a while. It was originally built in The hard disk died so I installed a new one originally from a dead Dell Dimension from and loaded it up with Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit.

What would have been a chore running Windows 10, even the 32 bit version, flies with Windows 7. Had it setup with the basics: Firefox, Avira and Office Gave her my old Logitech web cam I got back in and she is able to communicate with her daughter back in the states. Also, its great for watching YouTube videos, email and office productivity. That same web cam can’t even work under Windows 10 when I last tried it, yet she is Skyping with her daughter, no issues.

Windows 10 is really being designed for a new generation of devices, but Microsoft is particularly sensitive about how this is communicated for fear of isolating the hundreds of millions of PC’s. Thanks fully, both Windows 7 and Windows 8 can extend the life of these devices for up to 5 more years, even though both will no longer have support in and Installing Windows 10 is not gonna extend the life of the device, its just gonna be buggy on it and you are gonna be frustrated into buying a new device.

Display: x Coincidentally, I had a relative of mine on a budget that had 4 gb of RAM, but one of the 2 gb sticks when bad on it. I removed it and worked on her computer to clean it up. Although it was not the fastest computer, it definitely something she could work on for basic computing and internet surfing. I hope this helps.
