To keep your site looking consistent, you may decide to create a new web page based on a template or implement templates after you have already created some pages. FrontPage allows you to apply a template to pages with existing content. In order to work successfully with templates, you must have created a web site. Creating a new template-based page is very similar to creating a new page or a template. For more information on creating templates, refer to Creating a Dynamic Web Template.

Open your web site. From the File menu, select New The New task pane appears. Under New page , click From Existing Page Templates can be applied to web pages that you have already created. When a template is applied, FrontPage scans the page for region names. For more information about regions, refer to Templates: An Overview.
